I’ve been thinking for a long time… about how to write this post. Where do I begin? How can I put into words what I feel as a friend, as a sister, as a bridesmaid, as a photographer?
Their epic celebration had been in the planning for a long time. And yes, wedding planning can turn into an endless pile of to-do lists, vendor meetings, family discussions, and oh don’t forget the week-of errands that rival preparations for a presidential inauguration. But amidst the schedules and tasks, at the end of the day we were just a group of tight-knit family and friends who all came together to celebrate their love. When the music faded and the last piece of cake disappeared, memories of an emotional weekend filled with deep love endured. These memories linger so potently. Laughter, toasts and tears later, I’m forever grateful to be part of genuine love and life moments like these.
Special thanks to my dear friend and colleague Van for traveling and shooting with and for me. These memories wouldn’t exist without him.
Come and share my house, my home, and all I own.
I’d love to give to you.
